Beach Renourishment on Sea Island

 

Due to erosion of the sand, even a beach needs a replenishment every now and then. For Sea Island, that time is now. Sand is being taken from the South End around the Jetty and being put in front of the Sea Island Beach Club. At the time the picture was taken, the tide was coming in. It will be interesting to see how much survived as we are currently having very high tides.

365 Days of Pictures

It's that time of year for New Years Resolutions. While most of mine are being healthier, one I've decided to take on is taking a picture a day. The picture can be of anything and anywhere. It's going to be tough to keep up but hopefully I'll enjoy it and capture a part of my day for an entire year. Day 1 and Day 2 were a success and here they go!
